Before you install.

PHONEXA is built for a Windows 11 PC paired directly with an iPhone through Bluetooth.

Required

  • Windows 11, 64-bit.
  • A Bluetooth adapter supporting the Windows services PHONEXA uses.
  • An iPhone paired directly in Windows Bluetooth settings.
  • Show Notifications enabled by tapping the information button beside the PC on the iPhone.
  • Sync Contacts enabled for the paired PC.
  • Internet access for purchase, activation, recovery, and updates.

Messages, supported Tapback reactions, contact sync and photos, private local groups, dictation, battery telemetry when exposed by the device, connection diagnostics, and automatic updates.

Clearly labeled previews

Direct call control remains unavailable pending Microsoft certification. Attachments, GIFs, video messaging, and dependable group sending are not currently supported.

Set up your iPhone.

  1. Pair the devices.

    Open Bluetooth settings on both devices. Choose your iPhone on the PC, and confirm the matching pairing code on both screens.

  2. Allow messages.

    On your iPhone, go to Settings → Bluetooth. Tap the information button beside your PC and enable Show Notifications. In PHONEXA, check Messages separately from the Bluetooth connection.

  3. Allow contacts.

    Enable Sync Contacts for the same PC on your iPhone, then choose Sync iPhone in PHONEXA’s Contacts view.

If messages stop.

Keep the phone powered on and nearby. A saved pairing or a green Bluetooth indicator does not by itself confirm the message service is available.

PHONEXA connects independently of Phone Link. If both apps are running, close Phone Link and check again in PHONEXA. Do not remove a working pairing as your first troubleshooting step.

If the connection does not return, open Health in PHONEXA and review the Messages result. You can save a privacy-safe support report from Settings and share it with support@usephonexa.com. Do not include message screenshots, verification codes or payment details.

What sync does—and doesn’t—mean.

PHONEXA keeps the messages it has synced on this PC. It does not promise a complete copy of your iPhone’s iMessage history, and messages sent directly on the phone may not appear on the PC.
